Why is CCCA intentionally unaccredited?
CCCA is intentionally unaccredited because we believe that choice protects children's education from state interference. We want families to understand that decision before they pursue enrollment.
Why does CCCA operate as a Texas Cottage School?
Operating as a Texas Cottage School follows the same reason behind our non-accreditation and decision not to participate in the Texas ESA or voucher program: protecting children's education from state interference.
What is the Level Up class?
Level Up is CCCA's Bible-centered early-learning class for PreK through 1st grade. It helps children build reading and phonics skills, early math confidence, daily learning habits, scripture knowledge, and curiosity about the world around them at their own pace.
How do students move from Level Up into A.C.E. PACE?
PreK through 1st-grade students learn in Level Up. A.C.E. PACE begins in 2nd grade for students who are able to read. Before a student begins the program, CCCA uses a diagnostic and placement test to determine the appropriate starting point. Students may continue in Level Up while they build the independence needed for A.C.E. work.
How does A.C.E. PACE work?
A.C.E. PACE is a self-paced, mastery-based program grounded in a Biblical worldview. Once a student begins the program, they work through material at the pace that is right for them and move forward as they master it, with teacher guidance and support when needed.
What does the weekly schedule look like?
Monday through Thursday, students are on campus from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Friday is a home-based day for completing assignments that were not finished during the week. Classes begin September 1.
Does my family have to attend Calvary Community Church?
No. CCCA is located on the same grounds as Calvary Community Church, but families do not need to attend the church or be members to enroll.
How much does tuition cost?
Before August 1, tuition is $3,000 paid in full or $375 per month for nine months. After August 1, tuition is $3,200 paid in full or $400 per month for nine months. A $200 book fee applies; the $100 registration/testing fee is waived for 2026–2027. See the full tuition page.
Does CCCA participate in the Texas ESA or voucher program?
No. CCCA does not participate in the Texas ESA or voucher program. We made that choice for the same reason we remain unaccredited: to protect children's education from state interference.
