Calvary Community Christian Academy is a Christian PreK-12 school founded in Ben Wheeler in 2024. Here you can read what we believe, how we teach, and why we made the choices that keep the school independent.
In loving memory of our founder
Pastor Amber Lee
Pastor Amber Lee was the founding pastor and visionary behind Calvary Community Christian Academy. Her love for God and commitment to the children of our community shaped her hope for a Christ-centered place where students could grow academically and in faith.
Though she passed away in 2025, her vision continues through CCCA: a school where children can learn, grow, and thrive in God’s love. The academy’s logo was revised in her honor as a lasting reminder of that legacy.
Why we are independent
Some choices deserve a clear explanation.
CCCA is intentionally unaccredited and does not participate in the Texas ESA or voucher program.
That structure reflects our conviction that children's education should remain free from state interference. We operate as a Texas Cottage School for the same reason.
For daily learning, students begin in Level Up and move into the self-paced, mastery-based A.C.E. PACE program when they are ready.

What we believe and teach.
Our statement of faith tells you what CCCA believes and what guides our teaching.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for the sins of the world, and rose from the dead.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, helping us grow in faith and live in a way that honors God.
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
We believe the church is the family of believers, called to encourage one another and share God's love with the world.
We believe in the promised return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the dead to everlasting life or judgment.
Enrollment and church attendance
You do not have to attend Calvary Community Church.
CCCA is located on the same grounds and at the same address as the church, but families do not need to attend the church or be members to enroll.
Families are welcome to ask questions
CCCA admits students regardless of race, color, or national or ethnic origin. If you are considering Christian education for your child, we will be happy to answer any questions you have.
