Curriculum at CCCA
Learning begins with the right foundation.
Students begin in Level Up, then move into A.C.E. PACE when they are ready. Each stage is designed to help children grow in knowledge, faith, and independence.
PreK through 1st grade
Level Up gives early learners a strong start.
PreK through 1st-grade students learn in the Level Up class before beginning A.C.E. PACE.
Level Up is a Bible-centered early-learning class that meets children where they are and helps them grow at their own pace. It builds the literacy, number sense, confidence, and daily learning habits children need for the next stage.
Students enjoy stories from the Bible and other age-appropriate reading, scripture memorization, creative storytelling, show and tell, and opportunities to learn through observation and discovery.
Inside Level Up
Skills that prepare children for what comes next.
Early math
Students build confidence with counting, number recognition, patterns, addition and subtraction, shapes, time, measurement, comparison, and everyday money concepts.
Bible and discovery
Daily Bible verses, pledges, nature study, and age-appropriate science help students connect faith, curiosity, and the world around them.
Beginning A.C.E. PACE
Readiness comes before placement.
A.C.E. PACE begins in 2nd grade for students who are able to read. Before a student begins, CCCA uses a diagnostic and placement test to determine the appropriate starting point in the program.
A supported transition
Students who are preparing for A.C.E. PACE may continue in the Level Up classroom while they build the independence needed for self-directed work. They learn how to navigate the program with teacher support as needed.
English, Word Building (spelling), and math are introduced first. Additional subjects are added as the student demonstrates readiness to work successfully in that setting.
A.C.E. curriculum
Learning moves through mastery.
In A.C.E. PACE, students work through material at their own pace and move forward as the material is mastered.
The program is self-paced, mastery-based, and grounded in a Biblical worldview. Students continue building independence while teachers are available to guide and support them.
